The popular nollywood actor held his birthday on the 10th of July, and was attended by many nollywood stars who showed him love and support.
Buhari congratulated the family and friends of the veteran actor in a statement through his spokesman Femi Adeshina, he said the occasion calls for Thanksgiving to God, for all the care and protection.
Buhari confirmed the influence of Olu Jacob in the movie industry and the roles he played in setting a standard of professionalism and attracting global recognition and awards like the Lifetime Achievement Award conferred on him in 2016 by the African Movie Academy Awards.
Buhari also praised the actor capacity of interpretation of roles and making ideas understandable for his audience both young and old.
The president prayed that God would grant him better health and longer life and steadfastness in service to God, Acts and humanity.
