David Adedeji Adeleke was born in Atlanta, Georgia, on November 21, 1992. His mother Vero Adeleke was a university lecturer, while his father Adedeji Adeleke is a business tycoon. Davido is the second son born to his father and the youngest of five children. He went to the British International School in Lagos, Nigeria, then at the age of 16, he returned to the United States to attend Oakwood University in Alabama to study business administration.
