Early life
Stanley Omah Didia was born and reared in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. He is from the Rivers Local Government Area in the Rivers State town of Ikwerre. Before attending the University of Port Harcourt, he graduated from Comprehensive High School in Rivers State. He comes from a musical family; before to his 1977 passing, his grandfather played music for Celestine Ukwu. Drums were played by Lay’s father.
