As a co-founder and current frontman of the hip-hop group Migos, he is best recognized. Being the cousin of Offset and the uncle of Takeoff, Quavo is linked to the other Migos members. He also has a small ownership stake in the FCF Glacier Boyz.

Early life

Quavious Keyate Marshall was born in Athens, Georgia, on April 2, 1991. In Gwinnett County, a primarily suburban area 30 minutes northeast of Lawrenceville, Atlanta, Georgia, the three Migos members grew up side by side. During his final year of high school, 2009, Quavo played football for Berkmar High School as the team’s starting quarterback. In 2009, Berkmar had a 1-9 record, and Quavo’s 19-of-25 passing for 201 yards and three touchdowns gave his team their first victory of the year.

Career

Quavo, Takeoff, and Offset, who were also rappers, came together to form Migos in 2008. The three members were reared collectively by Quavo’s mother and are all related. Offset is Quavo’s cousin, while Takeoff is Quavo’s uncle. The group is from Lawrenceville, Georgia, and was once known as Polo Club. The group ultimately decided that Polo Club was too generic and changed their name to “Migos.” On August 25, 2011, the group released Juug Season, a mixtape, which served as their first full-length project. Then, on June 1, 2012, they released the mixtape No Label.

Personal life

Authorities interrupted a Migos concert at Georgia Southern University on April 18, 2015, and detained all three band members as well as numerous members of their entourage. Quavo was accused of possessing an unidentified Schedule II narcotic, marijuana, a handgun in a designated school safety area, and possessing a firearm while committing a felony.
