Early life

In Benin City, Divine Ikubor was born into a Christian household. While he was in high school, he began to sing and rap. He went to Ighile Group of Schools in Edo State for both his primary and secondary studies.

Rema shared a popular freestyle to D’Prince’s song “Gucci Gang” on Instagram in 2018. D’Prince saw the message and flew him to Lagos to offer the young musician a record deal.
