Early life
On February 20, 1988, in Saint Michael, Barbados, Robyn Rihanna Fenty was born. She is the child of Ronald Fenty, a warehouse manager, and Monica Braithwaite, an accountant. Her father is a Barbadian of African, Irish, English, and Scottish ancestry, while her mother is of Afro-Guyanese heritage. From her father’s side, Rihanna has two brothers, Rorrey and Rajad Fenty, as well as two half-sisters and a half-brother who were all conceived by other women throughout his past relationships.
