Early life and education
Paul and his brother Peter, often known as Mr. P, attended St. Murumba Secondary School in Jos. Paul joined a school music and drama club, where he began dancing and singing along with his brother Peter to cover songs written by Michael Jackson, Bobby Brown, and MC Hammer.
Both band members pursued solo musical careers after P-Square split up in 2017. In 2017, Rudeboy released his first two solo songs, “Fire Fire” and “Nkenji Keke.” The most views on YouTube in Africa for the year 2019 came from his song “Reason With Me.” He founded the music publishing company Fire Department Inc. in 2019.
