Early life and education
Festac Town, a housing development in Lagos State, Nigeria, is where Ycee was born. At the Dr. Soyemi Memorial Nursery and Primary School, he finished his basic education. His secondary education was completed at the Nigerian Navy Secondary School in Ojo. Ycee attended the University of Lagos to study marine biology.
Career
In 2012, Ycee launched his music career as an underground rapper. With Tinny Entertainment, he agreed to a record deal.
