Career

At the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, Ibadan, where he also created radio jingles and musical compositions, Ayefele temporarily worked as a journalist and broadcaster. He started his music career in 1997 following an automobile accident that left him wheelchair-dependent and with spinal cord damage. His friend Kola Olootu visited him when he was in the hospital after spending roughly 9 months there and suggested that he write some songs. This idea led to the 1998 release of his debut album, Bitter Experience, which launched him into the spotlight. After the release of the bitter experience, the sweet experience came out. The gospel musician has also recorded albums titled Divine Intervention, Life after Death, and Something Else.
